二、抓住契機(jī)，借文發(fā)揮 如：教授完SB2A U9：Saving the earth一單元課文后提出問(wèn)題：What lesson can we learn from this unit？學(xué)生的回答如下： S1：After learning this unit，we realize the serious condition of pollution，we should change the bad habit of throwing things here and there． S2：We should plant more trees and try to protect them．Anyone who cuts down trees will be punished． S3：We should protect wild animals and keep the balance of nature． S4：We should control the growing of the population．If the population goes on increasing，there will be only standing room for us next century． S5：If there is only standing room for us，it will be impossible for us to sit or to lie down．If we cant lie down，well get very tired． 上述各句始終圍繞一個(gè)主題──拯救地球。教師的問(wèn)題旨在喚起學(xué)生熱愛(ài)和保護(hù)地球的意識(shí)。這樣的結(jié)尾不僅能激發(fā)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)的興趣，而且能使學(xué)生在思想和感情上得到啟迪，使他們認(rèn)識(shí)到要熱愛(ài)我們祖國(guó)的大好河山，熱愛(ài)大自然就要保護(hù)好環(huán)境。
三、方式多樣，有機(jī)結(jié)合 根據(jù)課文的需要，有時(shí)在課文一開(kāi)始就進(jìn)行。如：SB2A U2 No Smoking，Please！一開(kāi)始就問(wèn)：“Is smoking a bad habit？If so，give some reasons and offer some advice to stop it．”這樣的問(wèn)題，有助于培養(yǎng)學(xué)生健康和文明的生活習(xí)慣。 另外，教單詞短語(yǔ)時(shí)可聯(lián)系學(xué)生的思想實(shí)際，教一些有教育意義的諺語(yǔ)。如：教success，secret，respect以及l(fā)ead to等詞時(shí)可引導(dǎo)學(xué)生說(shuō)：“Industry is the mother of success．Where there is a will，there is a way．You had to believe yourself，that is the secret of success．Hard work leads to success，while idleness leads to failure．We should respect our parents and teachers；We should respect the old and respect others．”這樣既達(dá)到了教育學(xué)生勤奮好學(xué)的目的，又使他們認(rèn)識(shí)到尊老愛(ài)幼的傳統(tǒng)美德，由此增強(qiáng)他們的社會(huì)責(zé)任感。
