    對話
Rosalind: I've just seen an absolutely wonderful movie, so romantic.
    Fiona: What was it about?
Rosalind: t was a very sad love story.
    Fiona: How did it end?
Rosalind: The camera zoomed in on the girl's face as her lover was being forced to leave her, probably for ever. Tears were just beginning to roll down her cheeks.
Fiona: Too gloomy for me I'm afraid. I like comedies.
I took a close-up of the girl's face at a distance using a zoom lens即‘我焦距鏡頭,從遠(yuǎn)處拍那位女孩面孔的臉部近距離特寫’。 Zoom in (on someone/something)是‘拉近拍攝’,也作pan in;zoom out則是‘拉遠(yuǎn)拍攝’,也作pan out,例如:(1) I zoomed/panned in slowly on the huge crater the explosion had left in the road(我慢慢拉近鏡頭,拍攝爆炸在路面上留下的大洞)。(2) The camera zoomed/panned out to show her, standing all by herself, waving goodbye to her lover(鏡頭拉遠(yuǎn),只見她獨(dú)自一人站著,向情郎揮手道別)。 The paper zoomed in on the problem of child abuse(那份報(bào)紙?zhí)貏e探討虐待兒童問題)。 (1) On the bookshelf are some cheap romances(書架上有些低俗愛情故事)。(2) I love the romance of walking in the rain(我喜歡雨中散步的浪漫氣氛)。
