這五個(gè)詞都是形容詞，都含有“好”的意思，但他們的用法又有所區(qū)別。
1）excellent通常指“極好的，優(yōu)秀的，卓越的”。
He is an excellent swimmer.他是一名優(yōu)秀的游泳運(yùn)動員。
Dogs usually have an excellent sense of smell.狗通常有很靈敏的嗅覺。
2） good含義很廣，常用來表示好的質(zhì)量、品質(zhì)，可用來說明人或物。
Jim is a good student.吉姆是個(gè)好學(xué)生。
It is a good watch. 這是塊很好的表。
3）fine側(cè)重于“身體健康，天氣晴朗，質(zhì)量精細(xì)”，比good語氣強(qiáng)一些。
--How are you? -- I'm fine,thank you.
This is a fine watch.這是塊做工精細(xì)的表。
It is a fine day today.
4)nice是對取悅于感覺器官的東西而言，帶有一定的感情色彩，有“美好的，美味的，漂亮的”等意思。
也可表示對人“有好和藹”。
It's very nice of you.
5)well作形容詞時(shí)指“身體狀況良好”，副詞時(shí)表”好“，用來修飾形容詞、
He cannot speak English well.他英語說得不流利。
I'm quite well.我很健康。
