I am very excited to be informed that I will be interviewed by your company. It will be a rare occasion for me to realize my value and display my skills who has been working for chemical production management for many years .I venture to write to you with the respect of how to manage the production ,save the energy and decrease the cost as well as train the employees according to my experience as workshop director and production department manager, supposing that I am one of the members who are in charge of Production Supervisor in Smit (Nanjing) Leather Chemicals Co.Ltd . My suggestions are as follows.
At first, invite men of virtue and wisdom and adopt their advantages from all aspects. Learn from the practice and improve gradually in order to optimize the equipment.
By the way of exchanging and cooperating with the engineers and the skilled workers ,utilize my accumulated process theory and experience to absorb the related production technology of leather chemicals, have a thorough understanding of the equipment and the structure as well as the working principle of each operation unit ,grope the best craft parameter and the operation procedure. Under the guidance of the specialist from zhe Netherlands ,compile the scientific and applicable 《Guidance of the operation》. Train the employees in turn to upgrade their operational skills．Optimize the equipment by technology innovation. During the stable production, establish the related process technology procedures and the rules of equipment safety operation as well as the mid-control test index in each operation procedure in order to upgrade the quality of the product. Establish the study-oriented organization and make technology innovation as the long-term effect system for the gradual improvement in production and the stable development. Pool the wisdom of the masses and make joint efforts to develop the technology system of the company.
Secondly, emphasize the importance of the human resource and make a stable and innovative team to create more profit for the company.
People are the key factor in production which is the most complicated, sensitive, changeable and decisive. The workshop production management is very complex .Only when we emphasize the human resource can we let the employees take concerted action to develop the good working atmosphere.
As a production supervisor, he needs to have a good virtue quality and strong competence with good character which illustrates he is diligent with enthusiasm and leading ability. He needs to communicate with employees and reads their minds and understands what they really want .He will guide and help them to be responsible with the handbooks such as《 the position duties and the work procedures》 ,to help them to develop the attitude of loving their jobs. He will activate the employee’s passion to make greater achievement by setting a personal example .He will motivate workers to perform their responsibility in their positions, rebuild the management procedure, renew the management philosophy to upgrade the product quality and make the company be more efficient to create profits.
Thirdly, manage in details and develop the core competence with the company’s characteristics.
Detail is important to be perfect. For a new company, we need to manage in detail .Only in this way can the company to be outstanding in the industry. The decreased cost is the net profits of the company. Therefore the cost control should be paid enough attention in the production .To do this, there are many ways .For example, we can develop the recycling economy to optimize the resource allocation and to upgrade the productivity of each resource consumption.
At last, to be safe in production is the most important. To be safe is the saving of the cost .So, only in the condition of safe can we produce and to produce must be safe.
We need to make the employees understand the importance of safety through the safety rules and regulations by daily safety education .Let them be conscious of safety and reduce the accident arising by themselves .We can adopt the advanced craft technology and affiliated equipment to upgrade the safety of the system .Take measures of reform and consolidation for the hidden trouble to ensure the safety production .Be strict of the working discipline and abide by the craft operation procedure, consolidate the safety of patrol. Make use of the 5s and bulletin board .Upgrade the management level; improve the working circumstances to make sure the comprehensive safety level is still on the high side.
