Main Contents：
本課主要介紹了英語語言的發(fā)展和演變以及現(xiàn)代化通訊的飛速發(fā)展。學(xué)完本課以后，應(yīng)了解英語語言在不斷的發(fā)展和變化著，而且要了解語言的發(fā)展演變，要在日后把這些有關(guān)英語的知識(shí)運(yùn)用到學(xué)習(xí)當(dāng)中。
在本課的對(duì)話1中我們要了解為什么說英語是一種全球通用的語言;對(duì)話2中提到了我們國家的國粹—京劇，除了了解有關(guān)京劇的詞匯以外，我們還可以增加一些基本的常識(shí)。
本課的課文向我們介紹了一個(gè)流行詞的誕生。“全球化”這個(gè)詞從被創(chuàng)造出來到現(xiàn)在還不到十年，但是現(xiàn)在它已經(jīng)在國際經(jīng)濟(jì)中得到了廣泛的使用。同時(shí)，課文還詳細(xì)介紹了全球的概念，全球境的功能等有關(guān)的知識(shí)。
