     本課主要介紹了有關高等教育的情況,并重點介紹了如何提高自己的閱讀技巧,如何能夠更快,更好,更容易的進行閱讀。學完本課后,我們應該理解課文所講的一天可以讀四本書的閱讀方法,并把這一方法應用到日常的學習中去。另外還應該能用英語就學校,課程及考試方面的信息和看法進行交流,熟練地以與外國人交流對教育的看法。
     本課的課文介紹了一場學習革命。作者認為只要學會了正確的讀書方法,每個人每天都可以讀完四本書,并掌握其中的要點,這是一種全新的讀書理念。它的核心方法就是找到讀書的竅門,用略讀的方法找到需要找到的信息,然后再做上標記進行精讀。
    Don’t read “slowly and deliberately”. Learn to skim for the points you want…, if you know specifically what you are looking for.
