1.for 的用法
主要用于表示理由，對前面所說的內(nèi)容進行解釋。如：
We must start early, for it will take two hours to drive to the airport. 我們得早點動身，因為開車去機場得花兩個小時。
He never read these books, for he had long lost the habit of reading. 他從不讀這些書，因為他早就丟掉了閱讀習慣。
注意：for 表示理由時不能放在句首，也不能單獨引導一句子。
2. so 的用法
主要用于表結果，意為“所以”，有時可以與并列連詞 and 連在一起使用。如：
The sky was cloudy, so I took my umbrella. 天陰，所以我?guī)Я税褌恪?BR> He told me to do it and so I did it. 他叫我那么做，所以我就做了。
注意：不要按漢語意思將“因為……所以……”直譯為 because…so…。如：
誤：Because I have no money, so I can’t buy it. (去掉 because或 so中任意一個)
