Nokia, the world’s biggest maker of mobile handsets, threw its weight behind internet telephony yesterday in a move that could divert large volumes of voice traffic from cellular networks and put further pressure on mobile voice tariffs.
這家芬蘭集團(tuán)的首席執(zhí)行官約瑪•奧利拉(Jorma Ollila)為諾基亞的首款大眾市場雙模手機(jī)（dual-mode handset ）N6136揭幕。這款手機(jī)既能連上移動(dòng)運(yùn)營商的網(wǎng)絡(luò)，也能在位于Wifi熱點(diǎn)覆蓋范圍內(nèi)，切換到固線寬帶連接。
Jorma Ollila, chief executive of the Finnish group, unveiled Nokia’s first mass market dual-mode handset, the N6136, which will work on both an operator’s mobile network and switch to a fixed-line broadband connection when it is within range of a Wifi hotspot.
