字號(hào):

I'm a stranger here.
    從小媽媽就教我‘路在嘴邊’,出門迷路要立刻去問(wèn)人,但是當(dāng)你去到人生路不熟的地方時(shí),別人跑來(lái)向你問(wèn)路,而你又不懂,你則可以對(duì)他說(shuō):"I'm a stranger here."(對(duì)我來(lái)講,這兒很陌生。)除此之外,也可以用 "I'm not from here."(我不是當(dāng)?shù)厝耍?。?dāng)別人知道你從外地來(lái),很自然會(huì)想到“哦,原來(lái)你是老外?!?You're a foreigner.) You're not from here."(原來(lái)你不是本地人。),或者你可直接問(wèn) "Where are you from?"(請(qǐng)問(wèn)你從哪來(lái)?)
    A:Excuse me. Would you tell me where the SOGO shopping arcade is?
    B:Sorry, I don't know. I'm a stranger here. You should ask somebody else.
    A:Thanks anyway.
    B:You're welcome. I wish I could have helped you.
Sorry, I'm not sure. I'm a stranger here/I'm new around here too/I'm just passing through/I'm from out of town myself(對(duì)不起,我不清楚。
    From out of town即‘從其它地方來(lái)到這城里’。 Guangzhou is my favorite town(廣州是我喜歡的城市)。
    你也會(huì)發(fā)覺(jué),town字有時(shí)會(huì)用冠詞(article) a 或the,有時(shí)卻不用。 He works in (the) town, and lives in the suburbs(他在市中心工作,在近郊居住。
I'll be out of town next week和I'll be out of the town next week這兩句,同樣是說(shuō)‘我下星期會(huì)出城’,但第一句的我是城中居民,第二句的我卻不是。
