Part VI:快速閱讀
Dear Bob,來 How are you? I haven’t seen you for a while. Hope all is well. Anyway, I’m writing because I’m inviting some friends over for dinner and I thought you might also like to join us.
The dinner will be at my place, next Wednesday at 7 o’clock. Mary is doing the cooking (I’m sure you’ll be pleased to learn!). I’ll be taking care of the bar(掌管酒)!
I’ve enclosed a map of how to get to our new apartment. It’s a little out of the way(有點偏), I’m afraid, but we’ve got a spare room(備用房間)and you’re welcome to stay for the night if you wish. In fact, there’s an exhibition(展覽)on at the museum(博物館), so we can go and take a look on Thursday. One request(請求), though: bring some music CD with you. Some classical(古典) and jazz would be nice.
Anyway, do let me know if you can make it(是否能來). My new number’s at the top of the page, so you can give me a call sometime.
Take care and see you soon.
