1．話題范圍廣，并且各種話題互通。
盡管每次考試的話題范圍有限，但是每次考試的話題范圍都會有變化，這樣一來，每個月4次考試的很多問題都會不一樣。另外，part 3的延伸問題會由考官來提問，內(nèi)容根據(jù)考生的回答帶來衍生。所以，真正考試中考生所碰到的實(shí)際提問會有很多。很多考生過分依賴歷年考試回憶來準(zhǔn)備雅思考試，但是碰到考試問題有些調(diào)整時則反應(yīng)不過來，造成很多停頓狀況，最后的考試分?jǐn)?shù)會很低?？忌鷳?yīng)實(shí)際提高自己的考試應(yīng)變能力，認(rèn)真聽考官的提問，根據(jù)雅思口語的實(shí)際評分標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的要求，有針對性地回答考官的問題。而且考生要適應(yīng)考官對各種問題的組合，比如語言和文化，建筑和文化，文化和天氣等。

完成程度是包括內(nèi)容和語言兩方面的。內(nèi)容方面的完整是指考生的對于考官的問題應(yīng)從comparing， describing， explaining和speculating四個方面來闡述，從而達(dá)到邏輯的完整性，換句話說就是我們所熟悉的5Ws – 1H。語言的完整性是指發(fā)音和流利程度方面的，停頓和重復(fù)會大大影響最后的分?jǐn)?shù)，發(fā)音最起碼要做到能讓考官聽懂，這兩項(xiàng)是最基本的要求。因此，即使我們知道了考試的題目，要考到高分還是有難度的。另外語法和詞匯這兩項(xiàng)也要做到完整，這就體現(xiàn)在句式結(jié)構(gòu)的完整和詞組搭配的完整上，這需要平時的積累。建議考生每天練習(xí)雅思口語題目的時間在一個小時左右。
