BEIJING, Nov. 20 (Xinhuanet) -- The China Aviation Supplies Import & Export Group Corporation (CASGC) signed a general purchase agreement with Boeing to buy seventy B737-700/800 aircraft here on Sunday, the biggest purchase agreement in China’s aviation history.
The catalog price of the aircraft purchase agreement was about 4 billion US dollars and the planes will be delivered to eight leading Chinese airline companies between 2006 and 2008.
Sunday’s purchase agreement will promote Sino-US economic and trade development. Since China bought the first Boeing aircraft B707 in the 1970s, the total Boeing aircraft bought so far reached 534, occupying two thirds of China’s fleet, said Yang Guoqing, vice minister of the General Administration of Civil Aviation of China.

11月20日，藉美國總統(tǒng)布什訪華之機，中國航空器材進出口集團公司（簡稱“中航材”）在北京與美國波音公司簽訂了購買70架B737－700和B737－800飛機的框架協(xié)議，這是中國民航購買飛機架數(shù)最多的一單協(xié)議。
據(jù)了解，這批波音飛機的目錄價格為40億美元，將于2006年至2008年期間交付，供8家中國航空公司使用。
民航總局副局長楊國慶說,此次中方購買70架波音飛機對促進中美經(jīng)貿(mào)發(fā)展、中國自上世紀70年代購買第一架B707飛機開始，目前共購進波音飛機534架，占購買飛機總數(shù)的2/3左右。
