八、老年人問題
1.take care by children 和in nursing homes 各有優(yōu)缺點(diǎn)
2.在家的話，老人可以享受與家人交流的機(jī)會，這樣他們不會孤獨(dú)，而且還可以照顧小孩，而且他們的經(jīng)驗對人們的事業(yè)和家庭生活都有幫助。但是由于老人經(jīng)常會出現(xiàn)健康問題，因此需要花很多時間照料，影響人們的工作。
3. 在nursing home的話，可以有更多機(jī)會與their peers相處，common language and interest,而且現(xiàn)在的條件越來越好，得到專業(yè)的照顧及醫(yī)療服務(wù)，還有proper diet 對他們的健康有利。而且讓小孩有充分的時間工作，追求自己的事業(yè)。但是缺少與家人的交流，會使他們感到lonely，出現(xiàn)一些psychological problem而且如果將所有老人都放到rest home,將給政府增加財政負(fù)擔(dān)。

1.criminals 應(yīng)該be locked up in prison(jails).
2. can ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for law-abiding citizens. Thieves ,robbers, rapists and murders are dangerous, pose potential threat to the society
3. 放到監(jiān)獄教育是一個很好的方式，讓他們知道侵犯其他人的權(quán)利是要付出代價的，這樣就會減少他們再次犯罪的可能性
4.不但是punish criminals but also deters the potential criminals. 有些有犯罪傾向的人由于害怕被處罰，可能會放棄commit crime.
5.應(yīng)該放到監(jiān)獄。Just as the old saying goes, mercy to the criminal may be cruelty to the people.
