習(xí)作要求
    不少同學(xué)都對(duì)英語(yǔ)閱讀感到很頭疼,為此你決定寫(xiě)一篇關(guān)于“怎樣改進(jìn)英語(yǔ)閱讀”的英語(yǔ)短文,以期對(duì)他們有所幫助。提示如下:
    1. 不要什么書(shū)都讀,要挑選一些重要的或感興趣的書(shū)讀;
    2. 從簡(jiǎn)易的讀物開(kāi)始,不要一開(kāi)頭就讀難懂的讀物;
    3. 不要讀得太慢,不要一碰到生詞就查詞典;
    4. 在迅速讀完一個(gè)章節(jié),對(duì)全文有一個(gè)大致了解后,再回過(guò)來(lái)慢慢讀,這時(shí)可以查一些必須查的詞;

    Improve ① your English reading, you should, first of all, choose something you feel important or interesting to read. Don't try to read anything ② . You should begin ③ those written in simple English. Don't read those which prove difficult for you at the very beginning.

    本文能按照要求寫(xiě)出要點(diǎn),語(yǔ)言流暢,格式規(guī)范。當(dāng)然其中的一些小錯(cuò)誤也應(yīng)當(dāng)盡量避免:① Improve 應(yīng)改為 To improve .此處應(yīng)是動(dòng)詞不定式做目的狀語(yǔ)。② anything 應(yīng)改為 everything .不定代詞的誤用。此句所表達(dá)的意思是“不要試圖什么書(shū)都讀”。③此處加 with ,表示“以 / 從……開(kāi)始”應(yīng)用 begin with .④去掉此處的 dictionary for . 這里短語(yǔ) look up 表示“查閱字典等”意思,后面直接跟查的內(nèi)容。⑤去掉此處的 your .表示“記住某事”用短語(yǔ) keep/have … in mind, mind 前不需要限定詞。⑥ progresses 改為 progress . progress 是抽象名詞,不能用復(fù)數(shù)形式。
