    我成功是因為我有決心，從不躊躇。 —— 拿破侖
    hesitate指躊躇，猶豫的意思。我們可以說：
    He hesitated before going into the meeting room.
    他猶豫了一下才走進會議室。
    也可以說：
    He hesitated between the choice over the two books.
    這兩本書中他不知該選哪一本才好。
    hesitate to do something 是指覺得也許不該做某事，或者有疑慮。
    如：
    I hesitate to ask you, but can you help me with my English?
    也許我不該問你，你肯幫我學習英語嗎？
    He hesitated to ruin the show.
    他怕把演出搞砸了。
    這種用法我們經(jīng)?？梢钥匆姡乙渤３Ｓ梅穸ㄐ问絹砉膭钏俗瞿呈碌臅r候，
    例如：
    Don't hesitate to phone if you have any problems.
    如有問題，請隨時來電查詢。
    另外，waver也是指猶豫不決；躊躇的意思。一般 waver （between choices）, 特別是用在做一個決定或選擇的時候。
    例如：
    He wavered over buying a house.
    他在買房上猶豫不決。
    當然，waver還有其他的意思。這里我們就不詳細列舉了。
    誠然，筆者認為有決心，不躊躇地去做一件事情固然可行，也許你會成功，但切勿鹵莽行事。We should look before we leap. 我們應該三思而行。
