help you?
Tony: Hello. I would like to make a collect call,
please.
Operator: What is your name, and where are you now,
please?
Tony: This is Tony Lao in China.
Operator: What's the extension number?
Tony: The number is 3028.
Operator: Please hold on for a minute.
(Operator makes a call to Jenny.)
Operator: May I speak to Ms. Jenny, please?
Jenny: Speaking.
Operator: This is Grand Hotel operator. I have a
collect call from Mr. Tony Lao in China. Will you accept
the charge?
Jenny: Yes, of course. I'm waiting for his call.
Operator: OK. Please hold the line.
(Operator picks up the line from Tony.)
Operator: Hello, Mr. Lao, are you here?
Tony: Yes, I am.
Operator: I will put the call through for you now
接線員：我是格蘭飯店的接線員，能為您效勞嗎？
東尼：你好。我想打一個對方付費的電話。
接線員：請問您的姓名及地點？
東尼；我叫東尼. 張，在中國。
接線員：您要打的分機號是多少？
東尼：分機號是3028。
（接線員給珍尼打電話）
接線員：我能和珍尼小姐通話嗎？
珍尼：請講。
