正確掌握和運(yùn)用詞組是英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)中的難點(diǎn)之一。如果說(shuō)生詞是考研英語(yǔ)中的"攔路虎"，詞組則是考研答題過(guò)程中的"絆腳石".僅僅能將單詞倒背如流，面對(duì)詞組也還是會(huì)束手無(wú)策，尤其是當(dāng)考試中遇到閱讀、完型和翻譯中的詞組時(shí)更是一片茫然，白白丟分。
1. catch one's breath 1.喘氣，氣喘 2.歇口氣 3.屏息
breath ：n.呼吸， 氣息， 氣味， 空氣， 微風(fēng)， 暫停， 瞬間
（1）。The sick man still catches his breath .
這個(gè)病原體人仍活著
The fat man run and caught his breath .

2. catch out 發(fā)覺(jué)……有錯(cuò)誤（或做壞事）
Ask me anything you like－you won't catch my out .
你盡管問(wèn)吧－決問(wèn)不倒我。
What do you mean？Are you trying to catch my out ？
3. catch sb napping 使措手不及
napping ：起絨， 拉絨， 拉毛
Don't let the boss catch you napping ！
Stevenson would have loved to find any excuse to get me fired，but i was wise to him and wasn't going to be caught napping .
史蒂文森很想找個(gè)借口開(kāi)除我，但是我很機(jī)智，不讓他抓住把柄。
4. catch sb's eye 被某人看到，引起某人注意
Henry turned a page or two and the title of a poem caught his eye .
亨利隨便翻了一兩頁(yè)，一首詩(shī)的標(biāo)題引起了他的注意。
The dress in the window caught her eye when she passed the store.
5. catch sight of 發(fā)現(xiàn)，突然看見(jiàn)世面
I caught sight of her hurrying away but i didn't try to speak to her.
我見(jiàn)她匆忙走過(guò)，但我并未想與她搭話。
I turned around and caught sight of Helen getting into a taix.
