    Where is the hospital?醫(yī)院在什么地方?
    Where is the …?表示“某地方在哪兒?”,用來(lái)詢問(wèn)地方,也可以使用"Is there …?"詢問(wèn)時(shí)可加"Excuse me."以表示客氣,有禮貌?;卮饡r(shí)可根據(jù)具體情況回答。例如:
    "Excuse me.Where is the post office?"
    "It's next to a shop."
    “請(qǐng)問(wèn),郵局在什么地方?”
    “在一家商店的旁邊?!?BR>    "Where is the station?"
    "It's over there on the left."
    “車站在什么地方?”
    “在左邊那兒。”
    "Is there a fruit shop near hear?"
    "Walk along this road,and take the second turning on the right."
    “附近有水果店嗎?”
    “沿這條路往前走,第二個(gè)拐角處向右拐?!?BR>    【Thank you all the same.】
    Thank you all the same.謝謝你。
    當(dāng)別人說(shuō)感謝之類的話時(shí),如:Thank you,Thank you very much,Thanks a lot等時(shí),我們常說(shuō)Not at all或者You're welcome以表示感謝,但當(dāng)別人對(duì)我們的提問(wèn)不能答復(fù)時(shí),表示遺憾,我們也應(yīng)感謝對(duì)方,用"Thank you all the same."意思是“也同樣謝謝你”。例如:
    "Excuse me.What's the time?"
    "I'm sorry.I don't know."
    "Thank you all the time."
    “對(duì)不起,幾點(diǎn)鐘了?”
    “對(duì)不起,我不知道?!?BR>    “謝謝。”
    "Can you reach the kite for me on the tree?"
    "Sorry.It's too high.I can't get it."
    "Thank you all the same."
    “你能給我拿下來(lái)樹(shù)上的風(fēng)箏嗎?”
    “對(duì)不起。太高了,我拿不下來(lái)?!?BR>    “謝謝你?!?BR>    【He is looking for different places.】
    He is looking for different places.他(方先生)正在找一些地方。
    Look for 表示“尋找”,強(qiáng)調(diào)動(dòng)作,英語(yǔ)中還有一詞,find 表示“找到”,強(qiáng)調(diào)結(jié)果。兩者含義不一樣。例如:
    "What are you looking for?"
    "I'm looking for my pen."
    “你在找什么?”
    “我在找鋼筆?!?BR>    "We are looking for Li Lei everywhere,but we can't find him."
    “我們到處找李雷,就是找不到。
    以look 組成的短語(yǔ),還有l(wèi)ook at(看),look after(照料),look like(看起來(lái)像…),look the same(看起來(lái)一樣),have a look(看一看)等。
    【He needs some help.】
    He needs some help.他需要幫助。
    needs 是動(dòng)詞need 的單數(shù)第三人稱形式,need 也可以當(dāng)情態(tài)動(dòng)詞使用,直接寫(xiě)在動(dòng)詞的前面。例如:
    My bike needs mending.
    我的自行車需要修理。
    We need to finish our homework.
    我們需要完成作業(yè)。
    They need work hard.
    他們需要努力工作。
    【You'd better catch a bus.】
    You'd better catch a bus.你坐汽車。
    'd better =had better 表示“還是…”,用于建議或者勸說(shuō)別人做某事。Had better后面要跟動(dòng)詞原形。否定形式在had better 的后面加not.例如:
    You'd better get up early.We'll meet at six.
    你早一點(diǎn)起床,我們六點(diǎn)鐘集合。
    It's cold today.He'd better put on more clothes.
    今天天氣冷,他多穿點(diǎn)衣服。
    You'd better not tell him about it.
    你不要告訴他這事情。
