John: Hello, welcome to Real English from BBC Learning English. I'm John.
Helen: And I'm Helen.
John: Today we're going to look at words and phrases that you might not find in your dictionary.

John: Today's phrase is airhead.
Helen: 我們今天的新詞是 airhead 空氣頭. Any idea what it means John?
John: Of course I do, I use it all the time, in fact sometimes I'm a bit of an airhead. It means to be a stupid or unaware person.
Helen: 嗯，airhead. 這個(gè)詞的真正意思是指那些腦袋空空如也的傻瓜蛋, John 當(dāng)然不是這樣人了。這個(gè)詞還有其它含義嗎？
John: The term implies there is nothing in a person's head except air.
Helen: 嗯，很容易理解，有些人很苯，一無所知，真的好象腦子里除了空氣之外，其它什么都沒了。
John: Here's an example.
