The Eden Project was established as one of the landmark Millennium projects in the UK to mark the year 2000 and is structured as an educational charitable trust. It's also regarded to be the 8th wonder of the world. There are more than 130 thousand plants of 4500 species from different part of the world living under the glass ceiling.
The new Eden is build in a worded out 50m deep mining area, covering a area of about 35 football pitches. Located at about 270 miles west of London Eden Project opened fully to the public on March 2001, totally cost 87 million pounds.
Eden is famous for its dramatic hexagonal windows, making the building a series of honeycombs. Now, Eden Project has build three combs of different climate, including cool part, warm part and moist tropical.
