①Nowadays, the two-day weekend has become an important part in the lives of college students. ②Like everything else, it has both positive and negative aspects.
③Generally, the advantages can be listed as follows. Firstly, ④it has lightened the course burden on college students. Secondly, ⑤it offers us more free time so that we can take up some hobbies, such as reading, dancing, or stamp-collecting. Furthermore, ⑥we can teach ourselves and learn something new.
⑦But every coin has two sides. The negative aspects cannot be ignored. For one thing, ⑧some students tend to study over weekends, which makes them too tired to concentrate on Monday's classes. For another, ⑨others tend to idle away their time sleeping, watching TV, or playing computer games.
⑩As to me, I will not spend my weekend that way. I will leave enough time for both relaxation and reviewing and previewing my lessons. I'm confident that I can make good use of the precious time.
