字號:

George Gordon Byron
    When we two parted
    In silence and tears,
    Half broken-hearted
    To sever for years,
    Pale grew thy cheek and cold,
    Colder thy kiss;
    Truly that hour foretold
    Sorrow to this!
    The dew of the morning
    Sunk chill on my brow-
    It felt like the warning
    Of what I feel now.
    Thy vows are all broken,
    And light is thy fame:
    I hear thy name spoken,
    And share in its shame.
    They name thee before me,
    A knell to mine ear;
    A shudder comes o’er me-
    Why wert thou so dear?
    They know not I knew thee
    Who knew thee too well:
    long, long shall I rue thee,
    Too deeply to tell.
    In secret we met-
    In silence I grieve,
    That thy heart could forget,
    Thy spirit deceive.
    If I should meet thee
    After ling year,
    How should I greet thee?
    With silence and tears.
    昔日依依別
    喬治·戈登!拜倫
    昔日依依別,
    淚流默無言;
    離恨肝腸斷,
    此別又幾年。
    冷頰何慘然,
    一吻寒更添;
    日后傷心事,
    此刻已預(yù)言。
    朝起寒露重,
    凜冽凝眉間--
    彼時已預(yù)告:
    悲傷在今天。
    山盟今安在?
    汝名何輕賤!
    吾聞汝名傳,
    羞愧在人前。
    聞汝名聲惡,
    猶如聽喪鐘。
    不禁心怵惕--
    往昔情太濃。
    誰知舊日情,
    斯人知太深。
    綿綿長懷恨,
    盡在不言中,
    昔日喜幽會,
    今朝恨無聲。
    舊情汝已忘,
    疾心遇薄幸。
    多年離別后,
    抑或再相逢,
    相逢何所語?
    淚流默無聲。
