Dear friends,
Jane is a freshman of Chinese Department in our university. From a farmer's family in a remote rural area of Southern China, she is very diligent, helpful and lovely. Unfortunately, last week the hospital informed her that she has to give up learning because of leukemia.
Now she is in Renmin Hospital with a high fever for days. Last Sunday,her illness became serious, and was sent to emergency room for several times. The doctor told us that she will live no more than three months if she can't have bone marrow transplantation.But the problem is that even the hospital can get the proper marrow, the big sum of money (RMB200,000) for such an operation is obviously beyond what her family can afford. Since her parents are farmers with little money, and what they can borrow from their friends and relatives is far from enough, we call for everyone's offering a hand to save Jane's young life.

As President of the Student Union, I venture to write this letter to you about donation for Zhang Yiyi majoring in English who is seriously ill.
Apparently, there is not enough money in his family to continue the treatment due to the expensive medicine.His father can't go to work in order to look after him. Besides, his illness is more serious than that of the average.
Honestly speaking, there is little we can do to help him.Whereas, taking all of our efforts together into account, it is far above what you can imagine. According to the above reasons, it is advisable to give us your hand. No matter how much you can donate, the Student Union thank you in advance on behalf of Zhang Yiyi. Without trying to save a friend, hardly can we live with inner peace.
