完型填空
是大學(xué)英語(yǔ)四級(jí)考試的一個(gè)組成部分。《大學(xué)英語(yǔ)四級(jí)考試大綱》指出：“完型填空部分的目的是測(cè)試學(xué)生綜合運(yùn)用語(yǔ)言的能力”，也即理解篇章和使用詞匯和語(yǔ)法的能力。大學(xué)英語(yǔ)四級(jí)考試采用的完型填空題是：“在一篇題材熟悉、難度適中的短文（約200詞）內(nèi)留有20個(gè)空白，每個(gè)空白為一題，每題有四個(gè)選擇項(xiàng)，要求考生在全面理解內(nèi)容的基礎(chǔ)上選擇一個(gè)答案，使短文的意識(shí)和結(jié)構(gòu)恢復(fù)完整”。
Most people have no idea of the hard work and worry that gosintosthe collecting of those fascinating birds and animals that they pay to see in the zoo.
One of the questions that is always asked of me is __1__ I became an animal collector in the first __2__ .
The answer is that I have always been interested in animals and zoos.
According to my parents, the first word I was able to say with any __3__ was not the conventional “mamma” or “daddy”,__4__ the word “zoo”, which I would __5__over and over again with a shrill __6__ until someone, insgroupsto __7__ me up, would take me to the zoo.
