在計(jì)算機(jī)網(wǎng)絡(luò)如此發(fā)達(dá)的今天, 懂得程序語(yǔ)言是很吃香的。尤其目前在美國(guó), 如果你想找個(gè)網(wǎng)頁(yè)設(shè)計(jì)師的工作, 他們最關(guān)心的問(wèn)題 就是「你會(huì)不會(huì)程序設(shè)計(jì)」。為什么呢？ 因?yàn)楝F(xiàn)在的「網(wǎng)上購(gòu)物」愈來(lái)愈流行, 能夠?qū)懗绦蚝涂蛻魷贤ㄊ呛鼙匾?。如果不?huì)程序設(shè)計(jì)的話, 你可能只能當(dāng)「妾」, 也就是他們稱的"junior web designer".會(huì)寫(xiě)程序的（計(jì)算機(jī)繪圖能力倒不必要強(qiáng)）才可以當(dāng)「大老婆」, 也就是所謂的"senior web designer".

這里的 "went ahead" 是"go ahead".是"proceed to V" （去作某事）的意思。
"I know where you're coming from." 是個(gè)美國(guó)人蠻常用的一個(gè)口語(yǔ), 表示他明白你的感覺(jué)、你為什么會(huì)作某事……等。蠻實(shí)用的。 就記得 「我知道你從哪里來(lái)?！梗↖ know where you're coming from.） 是「我懂你的感覺(jué)」就好了。好記吧？

"off the top of one's head" 也是蠻實(shí)用的一個(gè)詞組?！?想都不必想, 一下子就能說(shuō)出來(lái)的」就是"off the top of one's head".

29. That's the way the ball bounces. 預(yù)料中的事； 事情本該如此； 人生就是這樣
A： Bernice's finally had enough of Raymond's nonstop cheating and broke up with him.
A： Bernice 終于受夠了Raymond長(zhǎng)期的不忠實(shí)而和他分手了。
B： Well, that's the way the ball bounces.
B： 嗯！ 那是預(yù)料中的事！
