我約的5月11日早上7：30，廣州這邊的，由于去年簽J-1交流計(jì)劃連續(xù)被鋸兩次所以被安排在這天，后經(jīng)證實(shí)是N簽場(chǎng)。
我的學(xué)校是前50的LAC，2/3獎(jiǎng)。我住在天譽(yù)花園上的家庭旅館，關(guān)于食宿方面的TIPS我待會(huì)會(huì)詳細(xì)說。
提前一天在7-11買了蛋糕和Mr.Brown，7：20才下樓，隊(duì)伍已經(jīng)在小區(qū)前面的空地形成，移民排左邊非移民在右邊，我那時(shí)候去人都不夠多，才排了1隊(duì)大概20個(gè)人的樣子，我大致看了看，大多是商務(wù)探親．
快到8點(diǎn)的時(shí)候來了很多貌似讀研的GG，JJ．后來人多了，共分為4，5隊(duì)這樣吧，以預(yù)約時(shí)間相隔半小時(shí)為準(zhǔn)．排在我前面兩個(gè)的位置是個(gè)去讀高中的男生，后來我后面站了個(gè)氣質(zhì)超好的阿姨，我悄悄問她，你是不是學(xué)藝術(shù)的，美術(shù)吧？她很開心地笑了，說對(duì)啊．．你幾歲??？后來才知道是深圳何香凝美術(shù)館的高管層之一，是于近期在紐約舉辦的中國(guó)當(dāng)代畫展的主要籌劃人（聊的很愉快直到8點(diǎn)的時(shí)候武警開始驗(yàn)護(hù)照放人，上電梯到4樓，重起一隊(duì)，又驗(yàn)一次護(hù)照，在整個(gè)過程中預(yù)約號(hào)基本沒用．上了5樓后，就看到郵寄存包處，正式進(jìn)到簽證大廳后看到很多座位以供休息，中秘窗是1,2號(hào)兩個(gè)，還沒開始上班，于是大家又開始排隊(duì)等待．
大概8:20時(shí)小蜜們來了．過了不久有個(gè)老婆婆去UC-BERKLEY探女的找到我說自己只填了157的中文，小米讓重填．想讓我代填英文部分，欣然代筆．我?guī)退钔炅苏驹诖髲d里的人基本上都交完了，迅速遞交PASSPORT，DS三兄弟（只要英文），SEVIS收據(jù)，I20后坐下藝術(shù)家阿姨幫我占的位置．一直在很輕松地聊天，直到9點(diǎn)這樣第5號(hào)窗打開
.酷酷的帥哥，頭發(fā)微長(zhǎng)，看樣子有點(diǎn)象足球明星，后鋸人無數(shù)．后來，依次開的窗口是4號(hào)白人GG（我后來就在他手下過），6號(hào)沒看清是哪位，后來藝術(shù)家阿姨在他手下過．這時(shí)候漸漸又有大部隊(duì)到了，估計(jì)是8點(diǎn)那一批的．這時(shí)VO手上的資料順序已經(jīng)被打亂，開始叫人，以5個(gè)為單位在窗口前排成一列．大概9:30這樣叫到我，我前面是一對(duì)探女的老夫婦，沒過，聽到VO遞了214后他們還一直問為什么，VO頭也不抬說＂慢慢走＂，我是第2個(gè)，大家等急了吧！
Me: Hello,Sir.
VO: Hey.（開始例行公事打電腦按指紋開始主動(dòng)發(fā)問）
VO: why do you go to America?
Me: I’m going to pursue my bachelor degree in XX College,and my major is liberal arts and science general studies, that means I don’t have to declare my major in the first year and have enough time to explore more possibilities. VO: nodding,why this school?
Me: Well,talking about XX,I’m very proud of its excellent academics,small class size,low students to faculty ratio and what is more,we have one year to study abroad in the third year,the off-campus research.
VO: smiling,do you know where the school. Is located?
Me: smiling as well, of course!it’s located in XX town,PA,and the town is very quiet,you know,good place to study,in the other hand,the traffic is very convenient,it takes X hr to Philly,X hr to NYC and X hr to D.C. VO:typing without words.
Me: (keep on going)here is a supporting letter from the dean of the intl students office,would you like to see it?or any other such offer letter or FA letter?
VO:okay (then read they three cautiously) Give me your high school transcript.
Me: no problem.(my GPA is ideal) Excuse me sir,here are some proofs.I’ve been learning piano and Guzheng, a traditional musical instrument for years.
VO: no thanks,it’s okay. Then,you were rejected last y ear for twice?(appears to be weird?)
Me: yup. I was chosen as one of members in the exchange programme lasting one year but finally failed to get the visa.At that time,I knew nothing about the visa and even didn’t prepare. I was too nervous to remember that my parents had been to some countries such as XX,…….
VO: smiling again.you graduated?
Me: this June,from XX high school.
VO: you parents will pay for the tuition?
Me: NO! Actually,the FA from the college will offer the most part of it and the funds from my parents will cover the left.Would you like to see some certificates?(VO said not necessary)I continued:My father is V.P blahblahblah….TOTAL salary is XX0,000RMB.
VO: lady,your visa is approved, (smiling and kidding)the town may be boring and you should find a BF to spend your college life der.
Me: No thanks I will focus on my fantastic study trip. －－－well, God only knows ;P ;P :lol
VO: okay enjoy your study in that fantastic school.
Me: Thanks a lot sir,your tie looks not bad,tastful! VO: BIG SMILE!
Tips: 1．服裝整潔很重要，不僅是給VO第2印象好（第一印象為你的DS表和I20），更是為自己增加信心的籌碼，self-confidence and honesty is the basis of visa.我穿的是有領(lǐng)針織衫下面是深色長(zhǎng)褲，另外用了一點(diǎn)點(diǎn)三宅一生。
2．SMILE,SMILE,SMILE! Without doubt it’s your weapon.非輕浮諂媚的笑,充滿自信. 之前我的校友還跟我說要在簽證的那幾分鐘內(nèi)讓自己愛上你的VO. 我的想法是把它當(dāng)成一場(chǎng)演講,輕松自信面對(duì).
3．在口語能力允許的前提下表冷場(chǎng),要跟你的VO交流.距經(jīng)驗(yàn)來看這種情況尤其適合BRGG……我的簽友那位簽高中的小盆友也是不停說.
4．住宿方面,我住天譽(yù)花園樓上的家庭旅館,簽證大廳在F5,我住F8.這個(gè)前輩們都有介紹我再贅述一下,真的非常好,服務(wù)很周到一點(diǎn)都沒有勞頓之感,負(fù)責(zé)人老耿絕對(duì)是個(gè)好同志!^^ 有意的同志可以短信我以便提供聯(lián)系方式.
5．吃飯的地方,就在排隊(duì)的旁邊有個(gè)餐廳叫常滿,強(qiáng)烈推薦!!!!花費(fèi)不會(huì)太貴,環(huán)境很好,而且重點(diǎn)是味道很好,尤其適合喜口味清淡的XDJM.
