    一個(gè)有歷史淵源的用法。英國(guó)歷宗教斗爭(zhēng)激烈，舊教規(guī)定在齋日教徒可以吃魚。新教*舊教后，新教教徒拒絕吃魚表示忠于新教。所以“eat no fish”就轉(zhuǎn)譯為“忠誠(chéng)”。當(dāng)然就要遵守規(guī)則，“play the game”就轉(zhuǎn)譯為“守規(guī)矩”。
