A “Little Library”

Yan Yan, a nine-year-old pupil, told me yesterday that some leaders would inspect our school soon. His teacher told them to bring some books to school to set up a “l(fā)ittle library”。 It sounded a good idea and the pupils were happy to hear that. But the teacher added, “You can get your books back as soon as the inspectors (視察者) leave. As you know, the library we'll set up is just for show. ”
I don't think it right for [of] (1) a teacher to tell lies. Teachers mustn't show pupils how to deceive (欺騙) . It's their duty to teach children to be honest. What a pity it was that such a thing happened in our school!
