JOB DESCRIPTION FOR ELECTRONIC RADAR ENGINEER
WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This Maintenance and Services Centre is dedicated to the support of Thales systems sold in China. The proximity will facilitate the communication and understanding related to all maintenance issues.
For our maintenance and services centre, we are looking for a talented and dynamic Engineer in electronics with knowledge of radar systems.
The position is based in Tianjin, but it also includes trainings in France and installation/maintenance/repairs travels in mainland China.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
For Thales radar projects in China, you will be in charge of integrating and supporting customer for technical aspects. After training in France, you will be the Thales contact point in China for investigating issues.
You will have to know several Thales products and will work in contact with customers as well as with French Expert team to solve all technical issues (provide technical support, repair, upgrade version …).
Location: Tianjin in JV Radar Factory
PROFILE:
- Engineer in electronics (with general knowledge of drive and electro-technical systems)
- Fluent Chinese and English (French is a plus)
- Knowledge in analog, logic and microprocessor circuits
- Must be familiar with usual integrated circuits and especially with the TTL family
- Knowledge of computer principles and operating systems
- Knowledge of Secondary Radar theory (including general knowledge of data and signal processing) or experience in telecom field related to receiver/transmitter systems with general knowledge of data and signal processing
- Experience concerning Ultra High Frequency measurements
- Must have the ability to locate, identify, prioritize, troubleshoot, correct and document electronic/software issue
- Willing to travel
- Well-organized, likes technical and high-technology work
- Good communication and investigation skills
- Able to perform good quality of services (including reporting)
