Position: Software Engineer/Senior Software Engineer
Job Description:
Would you want to do software that may make impact on Intel future silicon?
Are your passionate about building a product that will be part of Intel proc
essor? Join us, a team aimed for developing next generation product to lever
age binary translation technology that helps Intel processor on compatibilit
y and performance.
We will provide solid foundation for current and future Intel binary transla
tion products (e.g. IA-32 Execution Layer, 2014 processors, SoftSDV, and LR
B etc). Working in a software product development/validation team, the candi
date would be responsible for architecting and developing new dynamic binary
translation/compilation/virtual machine technologies, performing validation
s and ensuring the software quality. Challenging and interesting work. Highl
y motivated group. Means every member has the ability to directly affect pro
duct success and innovate future technologies.
Qualifications:
The candidate should have excellent development and debugging skills (low le
vel language like C, C++ and assembly preferred), and proven track record of
solving complex technical problems and writing technical design documents.
One of one or more of the following area is highly preferred: compiler techn
ology especially performance tuning and optimization, debugging and optimiza
tion in multi-threading environment, OS internals, computer architecture on
Intel processor (IA-32 or Itanium) and virtual machines.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and working effective
ly in a team environment are a must. A PhD/MS/BS degree in Computer Science,
related field or the equivalent in education and experience is required.
