時態(tài)的活用:
英語時態(tài)有一些習(xí)慣用法是不符合以上規(guī)律的，我們只能硬記這些用法，例如：
在條件狀語從句里，將來的條件要用一般現(xiàn)在時表達，將來進行時要用現(xiàn)在進行時表達，依此類推。
例句：1.If you come here early tomorrow morning, you will meet him.
2.He will be watering the garden after two hours if you are preparing so slowly.
3.When we have gone there, they will have been there at least for half an hour.
Be going to do sth 和be to do sth結(jié)構(gòu)表示將來時也是活用的方式。
例句：1.We are going to get up early in the holidays. 我們打算在假期里早點起床。
2.He is to climb the high mountain next month. 他定于在下個月去登那座高山。
suggest后面的賓語從句里含有should，如果省略里面的should,謂語動詞則應(yīng)用原形：
例句：He suggested we [should] go in this way.
應(yīng)用舉例：《新概念》第二冊紅色字表示現(xiàn)在時系列，藍色字表示過去時系列

Postcards always spoil my holidays.[這是指作者一貫來的情況，即習(xí)慣性] [以后都是講述去年夏天的事所以全用過去時系列] Last summer, I went to Italy. I visited museums and sat in public gardens. A friendly waiter taught me a few words of Italian. Then he lent me a book. I read a few lines, but I did not understand a word. Everyday I thought about postcards.[這一句雖然講的是經(jīng)常發(fā)生的事，但因為全發(fā)生在去年夏天之內(nèi)，所以仍用過去時] My holidays passed quickly, but I did not send cards to my friends. On the last day I made a big decision. I got up early and bought thirty-seven cards. I spent the whole day in my room, but I did not write a single card!
