自2007年10月起,我在董恒甫教學(xué)點(diǎn)教四級(jí)精講班的閱讀和寫作部分。期間,為了收集同學(xué)們的寫作實(shí)際案例,共布置了八次作業(yè),也進(jìn)行了相應(yīng)的批改。在批改的過程有,頗多感觸,特成此文,與各位同學(xué)分享。
目前,到培訓(xùn)機(jī)構(gòu)學(xué)習(xí)四級(jí)長(zhǎng)期提高的同學(xué),從總體上來看,可謂是英語學(xué)習(xí)的“重災(zāi)區(qū)”,他們顯示出以下的特點(diǎn):
1. 基本的語法概念都有較大的問題,這些語法概念包括時(shí)態(tài)、詞性、主語的性別、被動(dòng)結(jié)構(gòu)等;
2. 基本詞匯量極為有限,很難表達(dá)清楚自己的觀點(diǎn);
3. 在英語寫作的過程中,暴露出中文寫作能力的不足,比如邏輯性、論證能力、描述能力等;
4. 思路有時(shí)反而放得太開,不了解四六級(jí)考試作文部分真正的要求;
5. 對(duì)英語國(guó)家文化層面的內(nèi)容缺乏較基本的了解。
同時(shí),這批同學(xué)也有值得欣賞的亮點(diǎn):
1. 由于考試過關(guān)的壓力,學(xué)習(xí)目的性很強(qiáng),如果善于引導(dǎo),可以較好的激發(fā)他們的學(xué)習(xí)熱情;
2. 該層次的學(xué)員性格相對(duì)要張揚(yáng)一些,對(duì)時(shí)尚、流行的東西也更為敏感,如果調(diào)整得當(dāng),可以贏得輕松融洽的課堂氣氛。
下面,我結(jié)合授課及作業(yè)批改過程中所做的收集,給各位同學(xué)提供一些例子,并能夠針對(duì)各自的情況,有的放矢地進(jìn)行學(xué)習(xí):
一、 基本語法層面的問題:
1. 關(guān)于時(shí)態(tài):時(shí)態(tài)是四級(jí)長(zhǎng)期提高的同學(xué)們普遍的難關(guān),主要表現(xiàn)為:
a. 無法保持時(shí)態(tài)在全文的一致:這一現(xiàn)象很普遍,往往是緊接的兩句,而且是沒有任何時(shí)間狀語的情況之下,就出現(xiàn)了時(shí)態(tài)的不一致,例:I saw an English man. He have a big bag .
b. 時(shí)態(tài)的基本用法錯(cuò)誤
i. 現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時(shí)不加ing,例:Many people are learn English.
ii. 一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)第三人稱單數(shù)問題:It become(s) more and more useful./ some people thinks
iii. 情態(tài)動(dòng)詞之后,動(dòng)詞反而不用原形:it can brings(去掉s,前面是can,這里用動(dòng)詞原形) us more challenge and experiences.
c. 過去式中不規(guī)則動(dòng)詞掌握得不好:Some people think Spoken English is even more important than writen (拼寫錯(cuò)誤:written)English.
d. 過去時(shí)的不恰當(dāng)使用:Many people thought…. while others thought… but I thought…同學(xué)們不了解think用過去時(shí)往往代表現(xiàn)在我們不這么認(rèn)為;
2. 關(guān)于被動(dòng)態(tài):很難體會(huì)好動(dòng)詞使用過程中ing與ed之間的區(qū)別:例: I am exciting about the news. test of speaking (而不是spoken) English, English spoken (而不是speaking) ability
3. 關(guān)于詞性:普遍的問題是名詞被濫用為動(dòng)詞或者形容詞
a. benefit的用法問題很大:I think it is benefit to our English study.
b. trouble與troublesome: When we have something trouble
c. 及物動(dòng)詞及不及物動(dòng)詞的混亂:I got enough ability to compete the chairman of Student Union./I will take place some lecture
d. many people feel fear about pressures.
4. 關(guān)于句法:
a. 動(dòng)詞原形不加變化,直接用作主語或賓語等句子成份:I think speak English and make friends are happy things. / Others spend it on entertainment, for example, go(ing) to a cinema, dance(ing), take(ing) part in sports, and so on.
b. 從句的用法混亂:I think students do he like things, ? I think when students do the things he likes
c. 主語與形容詞:This will harmful…
d. 不了解due to的用法:Due to they have to go to school from Monday to Friday ? Due to the fact that ….
