A postdoctoral position is available in the Section of Nephrology/Department of Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, the United States of America. The project focuses on the molecular and cellular mechanisms of cardiac and renal remodeling. Specifically, we are studying the role of bone marrow-derived progenitor cells in the pathogenesis of cardiac and renal remodeling associated with chronic kidney disease, HTN, diabetes, and glomerulonephritis.
The ideal candidate must hold a PhD in biological sciences. The applicant should be fluent in modern molecular methods.
