23、Man can climb to the highest summit, but he cannot dwell there long. (Bernard Shaw)
Summit最基本的意思是頂點(diǎn)、頂端,如:a mountain summit還有能達(dá)到的水平、程度這樣的意思,如:summit of career development, summit of ambition, summit of advancement, etc.
She's dwelling too much on her past.
24、The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.
Spirit, the part of a person's mind that is able to think and will be talked about as clearly opposed to the body.
Flesh, the physical human body as opposed to the mind or soul.
