注解：
1、 如果用梯子來形容人的事業(yè)上的升遷的話，看來是再合適不過的了。那么“He's going up the ladder pretty quickly”，就是說這個人爬得很快，職位升得很快，也就是所謂的平步青云。
2、 一個職位很高的公司領導很有可能是從一個小小的職員爬上去的，所以用爬梯來形容職位的升遷是再合適不過的了?！癝he's moving up the ranks one step at the time.”便是一個很好例子。它也有慢慢來，一步一個臺階，從底層做起的意思。
