DNA tests confirm Saddam capture
DNA 檢測證實(shí)薩達(dá)姆被捕

The head of the US-appointed Iraqi Governing Council, Abdul-Aziz al-Hakim, says DNA tests had confirmed that a suspect detained in Iraq was ousted President Saddam Hussein.
伊拉克臨時治理委員會領(lǐng)袖Abdul-Aziz al-Hakim稱：初步DNA檢測已經(jīng)證實(shí)：美軍于當(dāng)?shù)貢r間12月14日凌晨在提克里特一建筑物的地下室中抓獲一名男子，就是美軍通緝的頭號人物薩達(dá)姆·侯塞因.
"I have the pleasure to announce on behalf of the Iraqi people that Saddam Hussein has been detained," he told a joint news conference with Spanish Foreign Minister Ana Palacio in Madrid.
在西班牙首都馬德里,由外交部長舉行的聯(lián)合記者招待會上，伊拉克臨時治理委員會領(lǐng)袖稱：“我非常激動的告訴大家這個消息，一個對所有伊拉克人民來說都是振奮人心的消息，這個消息就是：薩達(dá)姆被抓住了?！?BR> British Prime Minister Tony Blair has released a statement confirming the capture.
英國首相布萊爾則發(fā)布了一份公文，對此作出了印證。
"I very much welcome the capture last night of Saddam Hussein," Mr Blair said in a statement, quoted by the British Press Association.
布萊爾在公文中稱，“我為作晚能夠抓到薩達(dá)姆感到非常的高興?！?BR> Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari, speaking in Paris, says he also has confirmation Saddam Hussein has been arrested.
伊拉克外交部長Hoshyar Zebari在巴黎發(fā)表聲明稱，他本人可以證實(shí)，薩達(dá)姆確實(shí)是被抓捕了。
Mr Zebari says it is the news the Iraqi people have been waiting for.
Hoshyar Zebari稱，伊拉克人民期盼已久的好消息終于到來了。
"The news I have from Baghdad and from the north, from members of the Governing Council and other sources, in fact all are confirming that the person being arrested this early morning is Saddam Hussein himself," he said.
Hoshyar Zebari說：“我是在巴格達(dá)獲知這一消息的。接著，北部，管理委員會，各個渠道都傳來了這一消息。事實(shí)上，一切都在證明著，哪個被抓捕的男子就是薩達(dá)姆.侯塞因本人?！?BR> "This is the best news, we've waited for so long and I think this will have a dramatic effect on the security and political situation in Iraq."

Washington has made Saddam number one on its list of 55 most-wanted Iraqis, and placed a $US25 million reward on his head.
薩達(dá)姆是美國55個撲克牌中最為重要的一張牌，華盛頓曾經(jīng)懸賞2500萬美元捉拿薩達(dá)姆的人頭。
