Ireland takes Miss World in China
愛(ài)爾蘭小姐奪得世界小姐頭銜
China's first ever staging of the Miss World competition has ended with favourite Miss Ireland, Rosanna Davison, beating 105 other beauty queens for the title.
首次在中國(guó)舉行的世界小姐選舉中，愛(ài)爾蘭小姐羅莎娜擊敗105位世界其他各國(guó)佳麗，一舉奪魁。
"I can't believe it still, I'm still in shock," the 19-year-old told AFP.
19歲的愛(ài)爾蘭小姐告訴記者說(shuō)：“我簡(jiǎn)直不敢相信這一切?！?BR> "I don't know what I'm going to do next, but I will put all my energy into being Miss World," said Ms Davison, who wore a long pink evening gown for the show.

Ms Davison is daughter of singer Chris de Burgh, best known for his hit "Lady in Red", and is the first Irish-born Miss World.

Ms Davison takes the crown over from the reigning Miss World from Turkey, Azra Akin, and earns $US100,000 in prize money after edging out 24-year-old Miss Canada, Nazanin Afshin-Jam, and China's Guan Qi, 21.
