字號(hào):

1:In ordinary speech, a person of culture is the individual
    can speak another language - the person who is familiar S5.______
    with the arts, music, literature, philosophy, or history.
    解析:這個(gè)句子出現(xiàn)了兩個(gè)位于動(dòng)詞,在英語(yǔ)中不符合語(yǔ)言規(guī)范,從下文可以看出后面部分是修飾individual的定語(yǔ)從句,缺少了引導(dǎo)詞,所以要在can前加who或that。
    例2:There are backward towns on the edge of Bombay or
    Brasilia, just as though there were on the edge of S3._______
    seventeenth-century London or early nineteenth-
    century Paris.
3:When the wedding is gathered by the altar, the bride and
    groom exchange vows. Fllowing the vows, the couple
    exchange rings. Wear the wedding ring on the forth finger of ________
    the left hand is an old custom.
    解析:本句的主語(yǔ)是動(dòng)詞短語(yǔ)Wear the wedding ring on the forth finger of the left hand,但動(dòng)詞本身不能做主語(yǔ),只有用其相應(yīng)的動(dòng)名詞形式才能做主語(yǔ),所以將wear改為wearing
