??It＋be＋adj．／n．＋that＋主語＋虛擬語氣，有的認(rèn)為主語從句中謂語動詞的形式統(tǒng)統(tǒng)是"（should ＋）動詞原形"，就是說should可用可不用。其實不然，有些形容詞／名詞后 that從句中的should是必用的。
??一、先說形容詞
??A．用it充當(dāng)主語
??下列形容詞之后that從句的虛擬語氣必須用 should：incredible令人難以置信的，natural自然的， strange奇怪的，absurd荒謬的，amazing令人驚慌的，annoying令人煩惱的，astonishing令人震驚的，impossible不可能的，interesting有趣的，ludicrous滑稽的，normal正常的，odd古怪的，queer奇怪的，ridiculous可笑的， silly傻的，surprising令人驚奇的，unnatural反常的，unthinkable不可思議的，wonderful奇異的等。例如：
??1）It is absurd and ridiculous that he should behave so！他竟然如此表現(xiàn)，真是荒唐可笑！
??2）It's astonishing that she should say that sort of thing to you．她竟然對你說出那樣的話，令人震驚。
??3）It is natural that economic crises should arise in capitalist countries．資本主義國家發(fā)生經(jīng)濟(jì)危機(jī)，是很自然的事情。
??4）Do you think it's normal that the child should be so tired？這個孩子這樣疲倦，你認(rèn)為正常嗎？
??5）It is odd ／strange that he should do that．他竟然那樣干，可真奇怪。
??6）It is surprising tht they should choose this method of passing the evening．令人吃驚的是，他們竟然選擇這個方式來度過夜晚。
??7）It's wonderful that he should be able to walk at all．他的確會走了，真是令人驚異。
??B．用表示人的名詞或代詞充當(dāng)主語
??這樣的形容詞也有兩類：a．虛擬語氣中的should可用可不用；b．虛擬語氣中的should必用。
??a類形容詞有adamant堅定的，anxious焦急的，concerned關(guān)心的，eager很希望，keen很希望（正式用語）， insistent堅決主張等。如：
??I was anxious that there should be no misapprehension．我很希望不至有誤會。
??We were anxious that there be no misunderstanding．我們深切希望不至有誤會。
??b類形容詞有delighted，shocked，sorry，surprised等。例如：
??1）He was delighted that his wife's cooking should go down so well．他妻子做的飯菜非常受歡迎，他感到高興。
??2）I'm sorry you should think I did it on purpose．你竟然認(rèn)為我是故意這樣做的，真是遺憾。
??3）I'm surprised that I should be accorded such a hearty welcome．我受到這樣熱烈的歡迎，感到驚奇。
