提到“完全”、“徹底”，你的腦海中是否只會(huì)閃現(xiàn)all、completely、entirely一類的單詞?其實(shí)外國(guó)的小伙伴們還有更豐富的詞匯，來(lái)表達(dá)他們強(qiáng)烈的語(yǔ)氣呢~
1. Every inch
不說(shuō)all，你也可以用every inch(每一寸)來(lái)表示“完完全全地，整個(gè)地”。
例：With his new suit on, he looks every inch a businessman.
穿上新西裝，他看上去完全是個(gè)商人了。
2. Through and through
Through本身有“完全的”、“徹底的”意思， through and through就更能加強(qiáng)這種語(yǔ)氣了。
例：I know him through and through, and he would never do such a cowardly thing.
我對(duì)他十分了解，他絕不會(huì)這么懦弱。
3. Root and branch
這個(gè)短語(yǔ)把樹(shù)根和樹(shù)杈都說(shuō)全了，用來(lái)形容“徹徹底底”再合適不過(guò)了。
