在美國，約會有很多種類，女孩子也可能同時跟好幾個男孩子約會(貌似在中國的一些大城市也差不多哦)，并且處于不同的關(guān)系會有不同的說法，這與我們中國的文化有太多的差異。這里我們給大家總結(jié)了一些約會與情侶關(guān)系間說法。
1.怎樣約會?"Dating"or"Going out"
Date 和 go out 都可以表示異性朋友(尤其是有感情或是曖昧關(guān)系的)之間的約會，我們來看幾個例子，體會一下用法：
I dated him when I was in college.
I've only had one date with him so far.
We're going on a date this Saturday night.
Would you like to go out together sometime?
2.約會的種類 Kinds of dates
約會當(dāng)然也有好幾種啦，快看看都有什么呢：
Blind date: two people have never met before (often arranged by friends)
Double date: where couples get together to do something
Hot date: date someone very attractive or used playfully for a date with a friend or spouse
Going Dutch: date where each person pays his or her share
3.處于戀愛關(guān)系中
當(dāng)一對男女處于戀愛關(guān)系中時，該怎樣描述呢：
They are in a relationship.
Is she seeing anyone now?
I think we are going steady.
See someone 和 go steady 都表示"長期和某人約會，處于戀愛關(guān)系中"。
4."天生一對"的伴侶
看到一對幸福的伴侶，你心里一定會想到"天生一對"這樣的詞吧，那這樣的表達(dá)用英語該怎么說呢：
They were made for each other.
Aren't they the perfect couple?
They are a match made in heaven.
I think they are good together.
5.夫妻關(guān)系
如果兩個人成為夫妻，或是結(jié)成了長期穩(wěn)定的伴侶關(guān)系，又該怎樣描述呢：
A couple: two people dating exclusively
例如：They are really nice couple.
An item: a couple who is the topic of gossip or interest.
例如：So are you two an item now?
Sweet heart: girl friend or boyfriend; implies a sweet relationship
例如：He married his high school sweet heart.
Lovers: a couple who show their affection openly
例如：Those two lovers just got married last month.
6.露水姻緣
都說情和性可以分開，只是為了一時的尋歡作樂發(fā)生的情事也不少，像這樣的事情我們用下面的詞來形容：
Love affair 例如：He had a love affair with a French girl when he was studying in France.
Summer fling 例如：It was nothing serious; it was just a summer fling.
