一路上Zazu(沙祖)忠實(shí)地跟著兩只小獅子，但是兩只小獅子卻在悄悄地討論如何才能甩掉他。Zazu看著他們親密的樣子，感到非常高興，兩只小獅子卻感到很奇怪，我們是好朋友，怎么能結(jié)婚呢?
Zazu: Step lively. The sooner we get to the water hole, the sooner we can leave.
Nala: So where we really going?
Simba: An elephant graveyard (墓地).
Nala: Wow!
Simba: Shhh! Zazu.
Nala: Right. So how are we gonna ditch the dodo?
Simba: Oh, I know how we can--
Zazu: Oh, just look at you two. Little seeds of romance blossoming in the savannah (大草原). Your parents will be thrilled... what with your being betrothed (訂婚了的) and all.
Simba: Be-what?
Zazu: Betrothed. Intended. Affianced. (三個(gè)詞都是“訂婚了”的意思)
Nala: Meaning...?
Zazu: One day, you two are going to be married!
Simba: Yuck!
Nala: Ewww.
Simba: I can't marry her. She's my friend.
Nala: Yeah. It'd be too weird (奇怪的).
Zazu: Well, sorry to burst your bubble, but you two turtle-doves have no choice. It's a tradition...
Zazu: ...going back generations.
Simba: Well, when I'm king, that'll be the first thing to go.
Zazu: Not so long as I'm around.
Simba: Well, in that case, you're fired (解雇).
Zazu: Hmmm... Nice try, but only the king can do that.
Nala: Well, he's the future king.
Simba: Yeah. So you have to do what I tell you.
Zazu: Not yet I don't. And with an attitude like that, I'm afraid you're shaping up to be a pretty pathetic king indeed.
Simba: Hmph. Not the way I see it.
