這是相當“敏感的”演說。無論上司也好同事也罷，我們對于別人的晉升難免總會有幾分“嫉妒”（envy）的心情。當然這種心情一旦暴露出來，演說就垮了。諸如“這次的晉升對您來說實至名歸”（a promotion you richly deserve)這類贊美之辭乃屬必要。
