八旗是中國清代滿族的社會(huì)組織形式，是清太祖努爾哈赤于明萬歷二十九年(1601年)正式創(chuàng)立，初建時(shí)設(shè)四旗：黃旗、白旗、紅旗、藍(lán)旗。1614年將四旗改為正黃、正白、正紅、正藍(lán)，并增設(shè)鑲黃、鑲白、鑲紅、鑲藍(lán)四旗，合稱八旗。八旗制度共存在296年，曾為發(fā)展和鞏固中國多民族的統(tǒng)一國家作出了重要貢獻(xiàn)。

Eight Banners
Eight Banners was the organizational framework of the Manchu society during the Qing Dynasty of China. It was officially created in 1601 by Nurhaci, chieftain of the Jurchens. Four banners were originally created: Yellow, White, Red, and Blue. By 1614, the original four banners had been split into Plain Yellow, Plain White, Plain Red, and Plain Blue, Bordered Yellow, Bordered White, Bordered Red, and Bordered Blue. These were collectively known as the Eight Banners. The system of Eight Banners lasts 296 years, and made important contributions to the development and consolidation of a unified and multi-ethnic China.
