《漢書》
《漢書》，又稱《前漢書》，由中國東漢時期的歷史學(xué)家班固(32年—92年)編撰，是中國第一部紀(jì)傳體斷代史，也是“二十四史”之一。《漢書》全書主要記述了從西漢的漢高祖元年(公元前206年)到新朝的王莽地皇四年(23年)之間230年的史事，包括西漢帝王的事跡、當(dāng)時的社會現(xiàn)象、各類人物的生平以及少數(shù)民族歷史等。

History of the Western Han
History of the Western Han, or History of the Former Han, one of the 24 histories and the first biographic history of dynasties in China authored by Ban Gu (32-92), a historian in the Eastern Han Dynasty. It mainly records a history of 230 years from the first year of Emperor Gaozu of the Western Han Dynasty (206BC) to the fourth year of Dihuang (Wang Mang) (23), including the stories of the emperor of the Western Han Dynasty, social phenomena, profile about various kinds of figures and the histories of the ethnic minorities.
