花兒
“花兒”是廣泛流行于我國(guó)青海、甘肅、寧夏、新疆、西藏等西部省區(qū)的民歌，被譽(yù)為大西北之魂。起源于甘肅南部臨夏、岷縣等山區(qū)，音樂高亢、悠長(zhǎng)，民族風(fēng)格和地方特色鮮明;不僅有絢麗多彩的音樂形象，而且有豐富的文學(xué)內(nèi)容;用比、興、賦的藝術(shù)手法即興演出。2006年，花兒被列入第一批國(guó)家級(jí)非物質(zhì)文化遺產(chǎn)名錄。

Hua'er
‘Hua’er’, dubbed‘the soul of the great northwest’, refers to the folk songs which are hugely popular in the western provinces of China, including Qinghai, Gansu, Ningxia, Xinjiang, and in Tibet. Originiating in mountainous areas like Linxia and Min County from the southern Gansu, the songs feature high tones that are held for a long time and carried far; they exude distinctive ethnic and regional characteristics. A whole host of images have been created using the music as well as the lyrics, which are often improvised employing figures of speech such as exposition, analogy, and touching imagery. Hua’er was included in the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List in 2006.
