滾燈屬漢族民間舞蹈，流行于錢塘江畔的余杭、海鹽等地。余杭滾燈源于浙江余杭翁梅一帶，流傳至今已有八百余年歷史，在節(jié)慶和燈會期間表演，具有強烈的競技特點。其融體育、舞蹈于一體，集力與美于一身，深受群眾喜愛。2006年，余杭滾燈被列入第一批國家級非物質(zhì)文化遺產(chǎn)名錄。

Yuhang Gundeng
Gundeng, meaning‘rolling the light’, is a type of folk dance of the Han people practiced in Yuhang, Haiyan, and other areas along the Qiantang River. Yuhang Gundeng originated in Wengmei and nearby areas in Yuhang, in Zhejiang Province and has a history of more than 800 years. The dance is performed during festive celebrations and lantern fairs and is highly competitive. The dance is akin to a sport, and places equal value on strength and aesthetics; it is well received by the people. Yuhang Gundeng was included in the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List in 2006.
