Dongding oolong tea, a famous semi-fermented tea in Chinese Taiwan, is known as "the tea of the holy". Dongding tea growing area is 600-1,000 meters above sea level with highly viscous brown soil, where the annual temperature is 22℃ and annual precipitation is 2200 millimeters, with high air humidity and cloud cover all year round. Dongding oolong tea is particularly precious for its limited yield. It is native to Lugu Township, Nantou County of Taiwan and renowned in Japan, China and Southeast Asia.
