青田石，主要產(chǎn)于浙江省青田縣內(nèi)，我國(guó)傳統(tǒng)的“四大印章石之一”。青田石是一種變質(zhì)的中酸性火山巖，主要組成礦物為葉蠟石。在1700多年前就成為民間藝人制作工藝品的石材，青田石與壽山石、昌化石、巴林石等彩石，共同承載著文化積淀深厚的中國(guó)印藝術(shù)。質(zhì)地堅(jiān)實(shí)細(xì)密，色彩豐富，花紋奇特，是雕刻、篆刻的理想材料。

Qingtian stone, mainly produced in Qingtian County, Zhejiang Province, is one of the "four traditional seal stones" in China. As a kind of metamorphic intermediate-acid volcanic rock, Qingtian stone is mainly composed of pyrophyllite. As the stone material for carving handicrafts by folk artists since 1,700 years ago, Qingtian stone with Shoushan stone, Changhua stone, Balin stone as well as some other colored stones, all bear the cultural accumulation of the Chinese seal art. Featured by solid and fine textures, rich colors and fancy patterns, Qingtian stone is the ideal material for engraving and carving.
