    *戎夷離開齊國到魯國去。碰上天氣酷寒,在魯國城門關(guān)閉后才趕到城邊,只好跟他的一個(gè)門徒在城外露天過夜。夜晚,天氣越來越冷。戎夷便對那個(gè)門徒說:“您把衣給我穿,我就會活下來,我把衣給您穿,您就會活下來。我是治理國家的杰出人才,為了普天下的利益而愛惜自己的生命;您,是一個(gè)普通人,不必吝惜自己的生命,您把您的衣給我吧。”門徒說:“我這平庸的人,又怎能慷慨地把衣給您這個(gè)杰出的人穿呢?” 戎夷聽了,嘆息說:“唉,我的主張看來不能實(shí)現(xiàn)了!”說完,便把身上的衣脫下來給門徒穿。到了半夜,自己凍死了,卻救活了這個(gè)門徒。說戎夷能夠把一個(gè)時(shí)代治理好,那還沒有證明;但是,他那想有利于人類的思想,算是達(dá)到不能再高的程度了!
